Crispy Barbecue Onions

Prep: 10 min. • Cook: 5-10 min. • Serves: 16
- 1 lb. Biggins® red or yellow onions, cut into ⅛" rings
- Hot oil in fryer
- 3 c. flour
- 2 tbsp. salt
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 2 tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 tbsp. chili powder
- 2 tbsp. ground cumin
- 2 tbsp. ground black pepper
- 4 tbsp. paprika
Mix all dry ingredients together. Toss onion slices in seasoned flour, separating rings. Deep fry in 365-degree oil until crispy and dark brown. Drain well.
Presentation: Serve with steak, beans and barbecue sauce.
